CORRECTIONS: In this speech, Brother Bugnolo misspoke in reference to the locusts mentioned in Apocalypse Chapter 9:2-10, whom St John says have power to torment men for 5 months, not kill them. Not for 18 months, and not to kill 33% of them. However, it is the horses of the apocalypse, released immediately afterwards in Chapter 9:11-18, who kill 33% of humanity.
Torment and Death
However, let’s consider that the mass vaccination program is one thing. Then, the deaths that will follow a few months or years later from immune priming is another. These two things can be considered two separate events, the former causing torments, and a number of deaths. The latter causing mass death. It remains highly probable that as Brother Bugnolo said, the Apostle is speaking about the Vaxx campaign and its consequences.

We read how she maneuvres her way through such a difficult situation. Plus, how she grows because of it, among other themes in the novel.
The desired outcome for young readers is that they will be inspired to treasure their unique differences. If they don’t fit in with the system or with those around them, then they should realise that it’s quite okay not to fit in.
