When Psychics Lack Integrity
In the industry that I work in, there are all kinds of people working. Many are very good-hearted and honest. However, occasionally you meet someone who lacks integrity. When Psychics Lack Integrity they give all other psychics a bad reputation. Here’s a good example.
Over-Charging
I’ve recently met some individual psychics who think that charging a rate of $200 AU or over (one example was a woman in New York, who wanted $265 US for a reading), is reasonable. They don’t work for a 1900 number (they work directly with their own clients), and they aren’t any different really to the other good psychics that I know as far as their daily lives go.
One such example is a busy Australian psychic who has done readings for me at a reasonable rate of less than $100 for about 45 minutes. Sometimes her insight was correct, such as the time when my pet died and she connected very accurately with her, so for that I’m grateful because I really needed her help at that time. However, of the three other readings that I had with her more than half of what she had to say wasn’t right for me and didn’t apply.
Be Careful Who You Trust
I’m psychic as well (obviously), and when I finished the call from the last two readings, I got a very strong sense that had I taken any notice of what she’d said to me, that I would have been led into harmful situations for myself. I also got a strong sense of being manipulated by her. I distinctly felt that “don’t trust this woman” feeling. Then when I said to her later that I didn’t sense that what she was saying was correct for me, she protested.
Giving People a Chance
Foolishly I thought that I’d give her one last chance, however, she put her price up to $200 for the reading. It might have been a way of saying “well if you don’t think I’m right, you can pay for the fact that you don’t think I’m right,” without her actually saying that. Or, it could be that someone is coaching her to put her prices up so she’s following what she’s being told. If I were her I’d drop a mentor like that.
Her rates originally were reasonable when she was charging $75 for up to 45 mins, but they changed to become completely unreasonable at the rate of $200 for an hour, especially seeing how she hadn’t been very accurate. She’s a lovely enough woman, but as far as her readings go – at least in regards to my readings – she’s overcharging and taking advantage. Of course, I didn’t let her do that to me. We always have a choice in these matters, and my answer to her price jack was “No thanks!”
Choose Your Psychic Carefully
I’ve had readings with other Aussie readers – Lisa, Judy, Kristina, and Yvonne – and they were accurate far more often than the other psychic was. Their rates are within reach of those who need help, and they do not take advantage of people by overcharging. Due to my own very unique circumstances, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose certain of these ladies again to do my readings.
My question here is, what does a psychic do apart from using their gifts to help people? In what way is that any more valuable than say, a Chiropractor, or Massage Therapist, or Hypnotherapist? The average charge for a chiropractor is $60 for half an hour, or for a massage therapist is $120 for an hour. Maybe more if the session goes for longer or less if you’re having a massage from a Chinese massage therapist. If you’re seeing a hypnotherapist on a regular basis, you’re looking at no more than $120 for the hour.
What Justification is there for Over-Charging? None!
Tell me, what justifies psychics charging more? Do they think that they have a right to overcharge because they think they’re special? Have they got some kind of unique ability that deserves a price tag like that? People go into awe of their psychic’s ability to see past, present, or future situations. But does that give a psychic the right to charge more than any other highly trained individual?
When Rates are Appropriate
It’s demonic when psychics start thinking that they are justified to rip people off. They get enough of an energy fix from the amazement that clients have about what they can do. They don’t also need to charge a high $$$ amount for their work. I’m totally against taking advantage of the regular joe or jill who phones for a reading. Especially if he or she is in a state of trauma over an emotional situation in their life. People who do that just bring ill-repute to the whole of our industry.
It’s a different story if you’re a psychic who has a 1900 number and the owners of the 1900 facility take half. But if you don’t, then what reason do you have to charge such outrageous amounts?
Don’t Spend More than is Necessary
I recommend to my readers and my clients to always find a reasonably priced psychic to have readings from. Those who begin overcharging their clients are no longer grounded. They have an unreasonable perspective of themselves and their abilities which is highly over-inflated. Not every psychic is right 100% of the time.
Accuracy
Personally, I know that sometimes I can’t read the energies and I don’t get things right. I’d have to know that my accuracy was high 100% of the time to justify a high fee. The psychic who motivated me to write this article didn’t get it right 100% of the time. In fact, it was more like 45% of the time. So how can any psychic justify getting paid that kind of money when their accuracy rate is so low?
When psychics start charging unreasonable rates, what they are seeing in their crystal ball is $$$ signs … dollar signs that lead to money in their own pockets. Be wise in a situation like this and compare fees before deciding on who you get your reading from.
Thanks for reading,

Here’s a site where you’ll find my writings.
The Bravehearts of Belgrave High is now published. I have completed the first in a series of novels that I wrote for teens. It is the courageous story of a young girl growing up in a home filled with domestic violence. She also has to endure a school and neighbourhood full of bullies. We read how she maneuvres her way through such a difficult situation. Plus, how she grows because of it, among other themes in the novel.
The desired outcome for young readers is that they will be inspired to treasure their unique differences. If they don’t fit in with the system or with those around them, then they should realise that it’s quite okay not to fit in.
My first novel was written to help raise funds for the private foundation that I established, which might later become a charity. Click here if you’d like to be taken to the site where you can purchase this novel. If you cannot see the site, use a browser other than Chrome.
