Wheel of Fortune Emerald Tolemac
This is a very complex card with many, many symbols on it. As such, it will require a very long explanation.
What is shown here is the female who exists in the celestial worlds who is half human half deer. In those worlds she takes a motherly role with the humans who are her soul children on earth. She has her hands on the Wheel of Fortune Emerald Tolemac. She turns events in our favour, or prevents things from happening that may not be good for us.
The woman turning the Wheel has the upper body of a human and the lower body of a Deer. Notice her hooves – they are Deer Hooves, not Goat Hooves. Don’t confuse this figure with that of the Demon Goat Baphomet. In the Celestial worlds, the higher level Beings come from Nature. They are one of Nature’s children, and they embody the physical traits of an animal. The Deer is a very delicate and sensitive animal. It is very light on its feet and unlike the goat (which this figure can be misinterpreted as) does not destroy the environment that it comes from. The woman represents a real Being in those worlds, just like how the Hindu god Narashima is a giant lion-man. Narashima is the fourth incarnation of Vishnu, who in the Celestial dimensions does in fact exist. He will sometimes appear in people’s dreams or Ayahuasca experiences when they are well along the path of spiritual growth. When he does, God-like qualities of love, kindness, and compassion have developed in the seeker’s heart and mind. However, a few coarser qualities like spiritual ego, pride, and arrogance of learning still continue to hold and plague the seeker.
The woman is known as She-She-La-La. In her Hindu avatar, she is Goddess Kali and can appear either as Kali the destroyer, or Durga the mother. The blue overlay on her left eye is a special lens that allows her to see into all sentient Beings’ lives, minds, and hearts. Kali is known as She who Conquers All, and in one of her many roles, she is the mother to the souls that reside in almost half of the population living right now. Yet she will also eat her own children if she decides to do so. Her role as Durga the mother creates life, while Kali the Destroyer disrupts or destroys it. Through the tearing down of people’s egos, it is her energy that helps set people free of the Ivory Tower that Stuart Wilde often writes about in his teachings. This is why she has control of all aspects of the Wheel that are depicted on this card.
The Wheel of Fortune Emerald Tolemac card is ruled by the four fixed signs of the zodiac: Taurus, Leo, Aquarius and Scorpio, as represented by the Bull, the Lion, the Angel, and the Eagle, which can be found at the four corners of the card. The fixed nature of these signs means that they are stable and dependable. This should reassure the questioner, for it can be alarming to get Wheel of Fortune in your reading; it seems that the entire smorgasbord of experience is at one’s fingertips. In Hebrew tradition, there is a prayer that can be translated as, “The whole world is a very narrow bridge; the important thing is not to be afraid.” This lets us know that although there is a myriad of options, there is a path that resonates most with a particular soul and, never fear because this card can help you attune to that resonance.
The four zodiac signs also represent the four horses of the apocalypse, who are Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, the human incarnation of the Son of God, and Goddess Kali. Lord Shiva’s totem animal is the bull, and he is usually born under the sign of Taurus whenever he incarnates. In the celestial worlds, he is also the Father of many of the souls of the humans here on earth. Lord Vishnu’s totem animal is the lion, and in the celestial worlds, he is the son of Shiva and Kali, whose incarnation in our modern-day and age is Lord Kalki. The man’s face represents Christ on earth – the returned Jesus – who is the spokesperson for the Trinity. Goddess Kali’s totem animal is the Eagle. She is the wife of Shiva and the mother of the soul of Jesus. Jesus was an incarnation of Krishna who was an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
The eagle associated with Scorpio looms in the sky above the wheel, wings and talons outstretched. The eagle can see for great distances around it, and as such is a symbol of being able to ‘see’. It also represents the king of the birds, and the wings represent spiritual flight – something to be attained for our souls.
In the bottom right corner, there is Leo the lion roaring. This hearkens back to the Strength card in which the questioner learned to walk alongside Leo in harmony. We are working with this part of ourselves to accept fate, but also to transcend it. This gentle strength helps us to understand that we can get off the wheel when we are ready, but never before we have learned the lessons that we became embodied to master. Taurus, the bull on the left relates to strength and fulfillment. This is the steadfastness that the questioner will need to fulfill their goals.
A Sri Yantra of interlocking triangles glows yellow at the top of the wheel. It is found in the Shri Vidya school of Hindu tantra. This configuration should calm the mind of the questioner, as it represents the union of the divine feminine and masculine. This kind of balance is harmonising, and gives the sense of everything clicking perfectly into place, the experience of being on your path and going in the direction that you clearly want and are best suited to: the joyful gift of the Wheel.
The Roman numerals on the wheel indicate the various degrees of the 360 degrees around a wheel. This is because it is relevant to indicating where the various dimensions are in the Celestial and the Hell worlds. The small figures around the wheel represent the energy of the dimensions around us. If you were the man tied to the wheel, then to the degrees around the wheel where the symbols are, lay the dimensions that exist around us.
Notice that some of the images of demons or angels appear to be behind the wheel, and some in front. This is where these dimensions exist, and they bleed through into our 3D reality from that point on the wheel of energy that is around us. Note that the dimensions are not in any fixed place on earth. They are all in relation to ourselves. If we turn to the right, so too do the dimensions around us. If we turn to the left, the same occurs. There is a green skeletal demon on the left. In this case, green represents jealousy, envy, and the desire to be seen as ‘special’ or superior. The energy of that particular dimension isn’t a very nice one. Be careful not to align with that type of energy.
Notice where your eyes go when you are thinking. If you look up outwards from you and to your left when you are thinking, whatever thoughts come to you are from a demonic realm. If you look down and to your left, it is likely that you are hearing not your own thoughts, but ones put into your mind by the demonic. There is a dimension behind you that comes up from the earth on your left-hand side that is a portal into the Hell Worlds. Any inspiration that you get from that direction is demonic.
If you look up to your right when thinking, you are being inspired by Angelic forces. Sometimes too, you can telepathically communicate with people who are spiritual sages who are still alive, and you’ll hear their voice coming in from that side of you.
The Celestial worlds are at 90 degrees to our right. If we become pure enough, we can walk into those realms without having to die. Carlos Casteneda walked out of here… he didn’t die. When it is said that he died, the reason why his death wasn’t reported for more than two months after he supposedly died, is because he walked out through a portal and didn’t come back. No body was ever found, and there is no death certificate for him either.
A white angelic figure on the Wheel of Fortune Emerald Tolemac representing purity guides the Deer-woman’s right hand. These two figures on either side of She-She-La-La’s steering hands represent the way that she is guiding the forces that affect the questioner’s life. These forces can be angelic or demonic. This represents a duality, but a lesson comes up in Tarot over and over again: dualities are an illusion. Everything works together to create the whole.
As you will learn in the Devil card, demons can represent our animal nature, something untamed, a force of chaos that can affect our fortunes. But remember too, that demons are very real forces that do exist outside of us too. They hook into the dark with us, and pull us about like puppets on a string. The trick to not allowing this to happen is to keep processing our darkness so that there is nothing for demons to tap into. When we have done enough of this and can no longer be tempted or triggered, demons leave us alone and go off to harass someone else.
Now we come to the man in the center of the Wheel of Fortune Emerald Tolemac. He represents the questioner. Clad in blue, the color of air and sight, he is true-blue, turning his will over to the fates, and prepared to go with the flow of what comes his way. This is very wise on his part, because he really has no choice. He is bound to the wheel. Many people have the illusion of control in their lives, but accepting this lack of control, although counter intuitive leads to peace. Here we come to a contradiction: the questioner is bound and yet free. It is through growth and knowledge of contrast that one realizes the freedom that was there all along.
To the man’s left, there is a glowing white castle. There is a bible quote John 14:2, “My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?” This castle represents many things. For starters, it can represent the many rooms of the human mind and all the different places that we can keep our memories and ideas that form who we are. It also can represent where we are going, and the belief of our cosmic soul lives, beyond this single life. Where are we going on our soul journey? What are we on this plane to learn and accomplish?
At the base of the wheel is another angelic being. She is made of white light and is offering her grounding force to the man hung on the wheel. A second demon beams red light at the questioner. This repetition shows the many forces that act on us in our lifetimes. Even though the actors change, the story remains the same. We are faced with our karma again and again until we can resolve our attachments and emit enough light into the world that we outshine our previous darkness. And until we can override our dark imprint on the world and ourselves with a new one – a light and pure imprint that affects many others for good.
The leaves on the trees behind the figure holding the Wheel are showing us three of the four seasons. The green colours are the Summer leaves; the red, yellow and orange colours represent the Autumn leaves; and the leafless branches represent Winter. The little flowers on the grass represent Spring, so if you’re doing a reading and your eyes are drawn to one of these in the card, this will give you timings for events that you can see happening in other cards that fall in the reading.

Here’s a site where you’ll find my writings.
The Bravehearts of Belgrave High is now published. I have completed the first in a series of novels that I wrote for teens. It is the courageous story of a young girl growing up in a home filled with domestic violence. She also has to endure a school and neighbourhood full of bullies. We read how she maneuvres her way through such a difficult situation. Plus, how she grows because of it, among other themes in the novel.
The desired outcome for young readers is that they will be inspired to treasure their unique differences. If they don’t fit in with the system or with those around them, then they should realise that it’s quite okay not to fit in.
My first novel was written to help raise funds for the private foundation that I established, which might later become a charity. Click here if you’d like to be taken to the site where you can purchase this novel. If you cannot see the site, use a browser other than Chrome.
