This is the wish card, and many people’s favourite. It’s all about hope, generosity and wishes being granted, although it can have a kind of dreamy quality about it, lacking in grounding or real belief. A bit of self-doubt and negativity can creep in here, but on the whole, it’s a lovely card to pull, especially if you’re hoping for something special.

The card of harmony, peace, health and compromise. Negative associations with this card would be the opposite of impatience, lack of foresight, conflict and argument.
Temperance symbolises self-control and the ability to handle a difficult situation carefully, and so bring about a positive result. It can suggest a wonderful time of harmony, health and enjoyment, and many say the Temperance card can be seen as your guardian angel.

Here’s the Justice Card meaning: She’s got a sword and she’s prepared to use it! Justice represents what’s right and fair; the scales are to weigh and balance, the sword to deal the blow. Normally, Justice is depicted blindfolded, indicating that she’s impartial and doesn’t get emotionally involved. However, the sword is double-edged, so it can swing either way … watch out!

The Wheel of Fortune card meaning is about the cycle of life. We’re midway through the Major Arcana now. This card indicates that everything moves in circles. Just as the wheel can move downwards and bring misfortune and bad luck, it is sure to move upwards again and bring us the luck we seek. Drawing this card can herald a new cycle in life, but it can also be a pointer to the fact that destiny is at hand, and we may not have much to do with our current circumstances.

The Major Arcana illustrates the whole path of The Fool from naivety to enlightenment. The eleventh card of Major Arcana is called Justice, and it is ruled by the star sign Libra. The word “Libra” also refers to the Greek word for yoke, of the type used to harness oxen and horses. The astrological glyph for Libra resembles both a balance and a yoke. Criminals are yoked by the balanced application of the law, and spouses are bound or yoked together by matrimony.
